Julie Michaelsen Photography shares with us the beautiful wedding of Eduardo & Clareana which took part at the home of Eduardo’s Grandfather! Emma of Something Blue Wedding was the planner and stylist and here she is to tell us about the day: “As most of the guests would be travelling from Brazil they wanted a day which has lots of English elements with the party atmosphere of Brazil. The houses’ grounds provided unrestricted views across the South Downs and their own herd of deer and sheep, it was breathtaking and the perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony. All the guests were sat bellow a flower draped stone walled pond with the blessing ceremony taking place at the top of the steps by their pastor. From here the guests were greeted on the formal lawns with a champagne reception and stunning canapés.
When it came to the marquee they didn’t want ordinary and they didn’t want drapes, I knew the perfect match would be PapaKata and as soon as I showed them their Sperry’s it was decided. The joy of a Sperry is that you can have the sides completely open creating an outdoor dining room experience. The sperry was surrounded by candles and festoon lit walkways and looked like it is always a feature in the garden. Inside the sperry was where the look really came together, suspended flower hoops and festoon lighting which framed the U shape table plan perfectly.”
